Sailin’ On, Edmonton’s only vegan food truck, began in the summer of 2013. From the beginning, nothing was more popular than our vegan BLT wrap. The secret was the coconut “bacon” we make ourselves, from scratch: it’s smoky and salty mixed with the sweetness of the coconut and it blows away vegans, vegetarians and meat-enjoyers alike.

Maybe it’s the way we tested out recipe after recipe, not stopping until we were fully stoked. Maybe it’s the organic coconut we toast in batch after batch. Maybe the fact that it’s gluten-free, nut-free and animal-product-free helped. Whatever it is, Vegan Coconut Bacon is definitely our tightest jam.

So we decided to make Vegan Coconut Bacon available to you, to use at home. Try it in your own wraps, on top of salads or pizza, in your breakfast scramble or straight out of the bag. Amaze your friends and family with your vegan cooking skills. We still make all our own coconut bacon in our prep kitchen, from scratch, using the finest ingredients. Everything is made in small batches—we just do a lot more batches these days. Between us, this is the tastiest thing you’ll eat today.
